Sang-e-Mah Drama Story, Cast with Real Names and Pictures

Sang-e-Mah drama is the second season series of a trilogy after Sang-e-Mar Mar. HUM TV has finally come up with a different plot. It shows old traditions of forced marriages in tribal areas of Pakistan. In fact, the cast has beautifully presented the theme that mesmerises the audience.

Mustafa Afridi wrote the drama serial Sang-e-Mah, which Shakespeare’s Hamlet further inspires. Saife Hassan directed the serial under the banner of Momina Duraid Productions.

Its first episode was released on TV on 9 January 2022.

Atif Aslam as Hilmand

Atif Aslam is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, composer, and actor. Moreover, he gave several hit songs in Pakistan and India. Atif finally received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz from the Pakistan government.

He debuted his acting career in 2011 with the Urdu film “Bol”. However, the drama serial Sang-e-Mah is his first television project. Atif is 39 years old and tied the knot with Sana Bharwana in 2013. He is blessed with a baby boy, “Ahad Atif”.

In the Sang-e-Mah, Atif has taken the leading role of Hilmand, inspired by Prince Hamlet. He lives in the graveyard with his friends and wants to take revenge for his father’s murder.

Nauman Ijaz as Haji Marjaan Khan

The legendary actor Nauman Ijaz started his acting career in 1998. Since then, he has proven his acting skills in several films and dramas. Besides, Nauman is one of the most popular TV hosts. His recent dramas include “Dobara”, “Parizaad”, “Raqeeb Se”, and “Dil Na Umeed To Nahi”.

In Sang-e-Mah, Haji Marjaan Khan is the stepfather of Hilmand and the father of Hikmat. The character of Haj Marjaan is based on Claudius of “Hamlet”.

Kubra Khan as Sheherzaad

Pakistani model Rabia Khan is known by her showbiz name Kubra Khan. She first appeared in the film “Na Maloom Afraad” and later acted in major hit dramas like Alif. Also, her recent dramas are “Sinf-e-Aahaan” and “Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay”.

The audience will see Kubra Khan as Shehrzaad, who is a journalist. She will travel to Laspeeran to observe the tradition of “Ghag”. In fact, Shehrzaad is inspired by Ophelia.

Zaviyar Nauman is a rising Pakistani actor who kick-started his career in the drama serial “Qissa Meherbano Ka”. Further, he is the eldest son of famous actor Nauman Ijaz. He is 27 years old and not in a relationship.

In Sang-e-Mah, he acted as Hikmat Khan, son of Haji Marjaan Khan and Zarsanga, who wants to marry Gul Meena.
